Kids seem to grow in spurts. Just when you think you have the next season covered in dressing your child, he or she shoots up an inch. Buying kids’ attire can be an expensive endeavor; this seems to be especially true of shoes. Last year’s summer shoes tend to pinch. Yet with the sandal season being so short, who wants to pay a lot of money for a pair that may only be worn a handful of times?
One solution for saving money on the kid clothing budget is to find shoes at garage sales or secondhand stores. This is certainly economical, but potential drawbacks are present. Pairing a cute sundress with splotchy sandals is not exactly an adorable combination for your daughter. The solution: Norwex Cleaning Paste.
It’s a quick and easy shoe pick-me-up: simply pair a damp Enviro Cloth with a little Cleaning Paste and begin to scrub the dirt away. Suddenly sandals look brand new, and you did not have to break the bank to buy them. Convincing your daughter of the merits of staying off the playground in her white shoes is not guaranteed, but at least you know an easy solution.
Of course this covers girls’ white sandals, but this product does work equally as well on tennis shoes. Check out the great results I got recently on a pair of old sneakers:
Boys’s shoes have a second problem: they tend to get stinky. Quickly. If your home has a built-in locker room, this issue will not affect you. Since this is not a standard feature for most suburban homes, getting rid of the stench of sweat is necessary. Norwex has a great solution for this too. Squirting Sportzyme, a specially formulated bioactive solution into tennis shoes and onto other sports equipment of their inevitable stink.
Two problems with two Norwex answers. Solutions to help your children put their best foot forward this summer.
