Norwex has so many cloths with varying levels of abrasion, but which one is best?
With so many options, it can be challenging to know which Norwex cloth is the best suited for every job, even with it comes to scrubbing. Scrubbing is the oldest cleaning trick in the book- just put in the elbow grease and the marks go away. When you make the switch to Norwex’s cleaning method, elbow grease is still handy, but the cloths and enzymes are handling most of what is stuck so you’re scrubbing less intensely for a shorter period of time. Because scrubbing is a repetitive motion, it is hard on your body. With Norwex’s cast of scrubby tools, you can cut back on scrubbing to clean smarter, not harder.
If you’re a charts person, Norwex has broken down which tools have the most scrub in the catalog AND ranks them on a scrub level 1, 2, or 3. With this simple breakdown, you’ll have a better idea of which one to use for the job and where it is best suited. Norwex has cloths for every area of your home so you don’t have to work harder than needed to achieve the same results. Check out the chart below to help you decide!

Bathroom Scrub Mitt
While the Bathroom Scrub Mitt is perfectly suited to bathroom cleaning, that isn’t the only place this level 1 scrubber can go. You can take on cleaning quests into your kitchen, light switches, walls, stair rails. It has 2 sides- one scrubby, one soft. In the bathroom, the scrubby side is helpful to breakdown soap scum, grime, hard water build up, and more. Once loosened, the cloth side wipes it all away. The mitt design is much more comfortable for your hand and fingers. EnviroScrub
The EnviroScrub is another level 1 scrubber. This dual-sided cloth has an abrasive side and EnviroCloth side. This cloth is smaller and thinner than the Bathroom Scrub Cloth- ideal to fit into nooks and crannies. It is great when you need to bring some shine to pots, pans, kitchen countertops, sinks, backsplashes, tiled walls, shower doors, and more. I love to use it to clean my ceramic stove! Check out this review post to learn more ways to use it and which enzyme cleaners to pair it with for more results!

EnviroSponges
The smallest scrubber in the level 1 category is the EnviroSponge. This sponge packs a punch with its dual sided cleaning action. With the scrubby side, you can remove burned-on spills from pots and pans, dried-on residue from plates and dishware, sticky spills from refrigerator shelves- and that’s just the kitchen! You can also use it on soap scum, mold and mildew stains, and hard water deposits. Check out this post to see why it is a better option than the traditional sponge and worth the investment!

Dish Cloths
Did it surprise you that Norwex’s Dish Cloth is a level 2 scrubber? I was!! Even though I love to use it for cleaning dishes and the counters, I didn’t realize how much the netted design works in its favor to give a heavy-duty clean. In the kitchen, it will attack stubborn messes from your stove, tabletop and dishes, but you can also bring it along to difficult projects like pots, pans, beaters, graters, microwaves, baked-on food and bugs on car windshields and grills. Check out this post to learn more!

Spirinett
Now we’re getting into the level 3 cleaners- the ones you want for the toughest scrubbing jobs! The Spirinett may look a little like steel wool, but it is a different material. It is a super abrasive tool, best used to remove burned-on food, grime, lime, paint, rust, algae, glue, and sticky messes on your floors, surfaces and countertops. They can also be used on glass, ceramic tile, stainless steel and wood. It works amazingly well to scrub pots and pans since it fits into nooks and crannies. Find out more about it in this review post. Make sure to test on an inconspicuous spot before using on coated and treated hard surfaces including glass, stainless steel, etc since it can scratch some surfaces.

Spirisponge
Another level 3 cleaner that appears similar to the Spirinett is the Spirisponge. Even though it is super scratchy, it doesn’t leave scratches. The foam sponge is wrapped in the abrasive material, making it very flexible as it cleans. It can be used on stainless steel, everyday dishes, pots and pans, cookware, shower and bath faucets to breakdown grease, grime, food residue, stains and gunk, especially when combined with Norwex’s enzyme cleaners. Check out this review post to see all the ways it works. With great power, comes great responsibility- do not use with abrasive cleaners on brushed stainless steel or cookware with special coatings and finishes.

Ultra Scrub Cloth
The newest Norwex cloth is also one of the most scrubby- the Ultra Scrub Cloth! It is also dual-sided, but the rough side is Norwex’s most abrasive yet, definitely a level 3! The other side is an EnviroCloth so you can wipe it clean after the scrub session is done. When you’d usually pull out your harshest chemical cleaner, think about bringing this cloth instead. Bring it to loosen stuck-on goo and other messes as well as stubborn soap scum, scale and grime. Use it in the kitchen, bathroom, garage, outdoor, and more! Steer clear of stainless steel surfaces or non-stick cookware- the scrubby side is not recommended for use on these surfaces.
