I am writing this to the mother, the wife, the husband, the retiree, the visionary, and the world shaker. I am writing this to applaud your efforts, courage, and your aptitude to step into the unknown: I am writing to my fellow Norwex consultants.
I realize this post is different than my usual ones; but I have something that I feel needs to be shared, in order to encourage you.
Too often we go through life caught on the ‘work’ wheel. We feel stuck in an immoveable pattern. It is hard to muster up the courage to stop doing what is familiar, and to hop out of the old situation into something new. The difference between you (a Norwex consultant) and other people is that you chose to leap off of the wheel. You chose to do something to change your circumstance and the life path you were on.
As a Norwex consultant, you are not only a leader but are someone who sees the relevance of changing your REALITY. You introduce a life-giving product into other people’s realms that have not previously existed. You show those around you not only a new way to clean but a new way to live.
Here is something interesting about the leadership path that you’ve chosen; you’re leading by serving others. Let me say that one more time: You are leading by SERVING others. You’re considering other people’s needs and taking care of them.
The marks of the best leaders are that of humility and service. Leaders humble themselves to serve those who need them and what they have to share. What you do should never be about IMPRESSING others but rather should be about IMPACTING them. What you do matters. What you share with those with whom you come into contact has an impact.
The knowledge you have has the power to breathe life into those you meet from your Norwex opportunity. Telling others creates opportunity that allows the people touched by it to initiate and spark change. Take what you have and make it explode change into the lives of those you share Norwex with.
YOU are in charge of the beautiful opportunity Norwex has given you.
If, on this journey, you’re feeling discouraged or tired: TELL someone. Let them serve you by listening. Rejuvenate and remember your purpose. Think about the WHY of Norwex in your life. Was it to pay off bills? Was it to spread your passion about preserving the Earth… the health of your family? Was it to do something for yourself? Was it so you could have your own business and report to and work only for yourself? Did you join Norwex to make new friends?
Whatever the reason for the ‘Why’ keep that in the foremost of your mind and dwell on it daily. Doing so keeps it in perspective and helps you from feeling overcome or overwhelmed when things get hard. Set your goals based on that and RUN after it as fast and as hard as you possibly can. Remember: all of the power to make a change is in you.
Here’s the challenge that I would like to leave you with. Find someone on the Dream Team to hold you accountable to the WHY that brought you into Norwex. Ask this person to remind you of the WHY, and talk once a week or even just once a month about where you are at and how you’re doing to reach and attain your goals.
Help each other. Hold each other up and be a source of not only information for one another but of friendship and encouragement. After all, you’re part of the Norwex family and that is what it is there for.
Friends, I commend you for your courage to step out of ‘normal’ and to tread into unknown territory. You are a life changer. Keep going. Keep fighting for our planet and our families. The future of world can be changed simply because you said yes to the Norwex opportunity.
