Hey MN local Norwex fans-
Norwex’s partner Washed Ashore is displaying their artwork at Como Zoo and Conservatory in St. Paul and it’s FREE!!
Washed Ashore is a non-profit organization that raises awareness about ocean pollution by creating art made from marine debris. Their art is beautiful and convicting because as you come closer to the piece, you’ll see all the random junk that was found in the ocean to make the sculpture. If you resonate with Norwex’s mission, you’ll know why they are partners with Washed Ashore when you see the art in person. This is a great opportunity to remind yourself of the impact of plastic, why you use Norwex, and why being a customer/host/or consultant is a meaningful decision!
A friend of mine had the opportunity to check out their display at Como Zoo and sent me pictures. I can’t wait to check it out for myself soon, but loved seeing a preview. Next to the sculpture, there is a description that includes some of the random materials that were used. I had fun thinking of how Norwex could have prevented the items used from ending up in the ocean.
Grace the Humpback Whale
Jellyfish Bloom
Do you see those toothbrushes? With Norwex Silvercare Toothbrushes, you only have to replace the head, not the whole handle, which reduces plastic pollution!
Lidia the Seal
Big Jellyfish
Sunset Beach Collage
Tsunami Waves
Crashing Waves
Priscilla the Parrot Fish
Humpback Whale Tail
Which piece are you most excited to see?
Let me know in the comments below what kinds of objects you saw used in the sculptures and how they could have been prevented by a Norwex product!
