Ditch the Plastic: Norwex Movement Community Project Series!!

Have you ever wondered what you could do to reduce your recycling bin?

Pats on the back for  being a stellar recycler!

My recycling bin was brimming and overflowing. I was so proud of my pile of salvaged waste, but since my garbage service only took recycling every two weeks, it was hard to stay motivated. We sometimes even had to fill up my mother-in-law’s recycling bin when ours gets full! Then I started wondering, what if I could find products that didn’t use plastic to package? Especially considering, there are some products where the plastic can’t be saved for recycling (like toothpaste tubes).

Turns out, there are ways to get around using plastic packaging! I am so excited to feature each month, products that eliminate the need for plastic packaging (besides our beloved Norwex products that already diminish plastic use). This series is also a way to plug the Norwex Movement. The Norwex Movement hopes to increase awareness about plastics and dangerous chemicals in the home by connecting with other Norwex communities.
